Travelling to Vienna

There are many ways to get to Vienna:

Vienna International Airport Schwechat is located just outside the city, with the City Airport Train (CAT) taking you to the city centre in less than 20 minutes.

There are multiple train stations with international connections such as Wien Westbahnhof and Wien Hauptbahnhof, and also an international bus terminal that is located close to a tube station.

 Travelling within Vienna

Vienna has an excellent public transport system with affordable tickets for visitors that enable you to travel on any bus, tram, tube, or train within the city limits.

The underground:

The closest tube stop to our venue is Schottentor, a tube stop on the U2 line.

The tram:

There are many trams that get you to the Campus of the University of Vienna, such as the lines 1, 5, 33, 43, 44, 71, and D.

The bus:

There is also a bus that stops close to the campus, the 13A.
